Connect.the.dOTs accepts private pay only at this time. This allows us to provide quality/effective care, efficiently. We use an electronic payment system- which accepts your HSA. You may request a superbill at any time to be submitted to your insurance for further reimbursement. Families will be responsible for checking their own benefits regarding reimbursement. 

Although Connect.the.dOTs provides OT only, if your child has needs outside of the OT scope of practice, your child will be referred another provider. Tessa works closely with other private SLP/PT/mental health practices and will be sure to get your child in the right hands. In addition, Tessa continues to practice at Riley and would be happy to get you in touch with an insurance-based provider, if that is your preference. 

Frequency is determined at your child's initial evaluation and it will vary based on age/goals. However, EVERYONE's goal is to participate in LIFE successfully- not just therapy. At Connect.the.dOTs, we practice an episodic care model. Evidence shows that this model helps the team remain goal oriented. Your child should make progress, then go out into the world to practice their new skills in real life. Check ins, updated HEPs, and additional support will always be available in the future, as needed, but therapy is not meant to last forever.
